What is CTP?

Computer to Plate - CTP

Offset Printing is related to the classical workflow system prepared in the original film output is taken with this film and the mold is exposed to printing. In the Ctp system, the camera is directly exposed to the mold without using a film. The most important advantage of the system is the acceleration of the workflow with the disappearance of the film. In addition to avoiding mistakes due to film and lack of film costs, the consistency and quality of exposure to the mold increase the product quality.

The advantage of CTP

The main problems of the classical printing process are the possibility that the density of the film is insufficient and that the point in the film is not lost to the mold without loss. CtP solves them as follows:

• CTP easily overcomes these two problems. Due to the obvious point structure, even 30-year printing machines can be printed with great prints. On the other hand, the high and sharp structure of the dot does not suffocate the pressure even if the ink goes too much. The distribution of the dye on the CtP point is minimal compared to the conventional mold.

Format of pictures

The formats of the images to be used in preparation for printing should be TIF, JPEG or EPS. These studies should be run in CMYK mode, not RGB (4 non-color mode). If the file is an RGB format, it is very important to have the correct profile when switching to CMYK mode. Pictures that are not translated with the correct profile may change with another color tone. You can look at this by checking the CMYK channels or visually.

How to create pdf

Adobe is a format developed by the Portable Document Format (Portable File Format) `d. PDF documents, which can only be opened by the free Acrobat Reader program, are now recognized by many professional software. PDF is one of the most important features of the document's portability. All the data used in the original document (font characters, image documents, vector objects) etc. holds all the features of PDF. (Embedded Feature) It does not count the advantages of users to convert their jobs to PDF format for presentation, print approval or even printing.

How is it prepared?

All professional programs are available in PDF format in the export format. In some programs, for example, Freehand Adobe Acrobat Pro can be installed in itself without the ability to move the pdf. Adobe Acrobat Pro program installed on your system is the right choice. The program is available in all Adobe CS packages.

In programs such as Corel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, you can choose PDF by selecting "save as" command. The most accurate way in Freehand is to save the file as Postscript .EPS or .PS, and convert to PDF in the Distiller program included in the program package. Before making PDF; Are image formats correct? (Is it CMYK format? Is it at least 300 dpi? Is the format problem?)? Do you have a share of the overflow (cut)? It is more accurate to check these stages in advance. When creating a PDF, the Press Quality option is the right option for offset.

CMYK and RGB

RGB: Red, Green, Blue

The codes of all colors in nature are formed by the combination of these three basic colors in different proportions,

If 100% is mixed, White is the image and 0% is the black image.

As the colors of the main colors change, the colors of the main colors will change as the colors of the main colors Red, Blue and Green are not specified in this space. As a simple example, when you play with the contrast setting on your monitor,

CMYK:

Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key

Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black This is the color space created by the colors.

Basically, the number of colors C, M, Y, including 3. Black was added later. These three colors were theoretically 100% proportional to black, while in practice they did not give full color and were added later because of the cost of these three colors.

difference between

RGB: Black as a blank background.

CMYK: White as an empty floor.

RGB: 3 different pieces of light are intercepted and prevented by interfering each other. Colors change as the values change.

CMYK: 4 colors are created by the tram method by completing each other to create the desired color. In other words, our printed media sees the sunlight reflecting on the printed media, not the direct lights, as in RGB.

In this context CMYK can mean true, RGB imaginary image

Overprint

in other words, mama press on ”. In the case of color separation, different colored floors beneath an object marked as overprint are not emptied.

For this reason, an overprinted object must have a dark color to cover the colors below it. For example, overprint is usually commanded in colors where black and gold-silver inks will be used. Because black is the darkest color and black areas will always appear black, no matter what color. In the same way, it is not necessary to undermine the colors in which the covering inks will be used, since they will not interact with the underlying color.

TRICROMI COLOR DISCRIMINATION

Trichromy color separation; cyan, magenta, yellow and black colors, transparent inks and color support system that supports printing. CMYK is a mixture of colors and printing of pictures by tram. With this system, millions of shades can be obtained. It is a color separation system used all over the world.

Trigromi + Tire Spot Color Separation

This type of color separation from the color tone of the CMYK color mix and a picture that needs to be printed with logo, text, etc. as an example. Here, the picture will have to be printed trichromia; however, the color that does not come out of CMYK will be printed as an extra. The spot color to be printed may be more than one depending on the condition of the job. The point to note here is that the areas where the color dots will be printed on the color separator are emptied of all color separations.
